  But not to worry as they had moved my booking To the Hendra location which is thirty minutes further away. So thirty minutes before my booking I called to Hendra to confirm and they said they would call me back.

  Ash from marooka called me to to say that Hendra had just called to say their track had also been returned damaged and I wouldn't be getting a rental truck on the day I had organised to move.

  I was only informed there would be a $350 deposit. When I arrived I was informed it would be a $550 deposit as I was using a Visa debit card as opposed a credit card. I was told the authorisation on the card "will drop off automatically after a couple of days". This was not in fact correct, due to the way this car company process the transaction, it will stay on the card the maximum period which is 10 business days. They will try and blame the banks, but it is how ALPHA process the transactions, not your financial institution. I highly recommend Select ute higher, they process the deposits correctly and the hold is removed from the card INSTANTLY once the vehicle is returned.

  Suspicious that they had two trucks with exactly the same excuse I rang Hendra and asked if they had any return with damage. They said no they were just fully booked and had no trucks.

  DO NOT hire from here. They accept your booking then make up excuses as to why you don't have your pre booked vehicle.

  They lie to you and ruin your plans. I had a truck booked on for weeks before hand and get called on the day that the truck was returned damaged.
